Web Designing is an exciting and growing industry. Many businesses and organizations desire to move online to expand their approach to the people; hence the programming and designing a website is a job high in demand. Unlike the popular view web designing is not difficult; it only requires time and patience. The following web design tips will help anyone who is creating a website:
· Keep the loading times fast - You may want a design that makes people go wow but if it takes a long time to load people will not stay on your site to check it out. The designs that you have should be optimized and take not more than fifteen seconds to load.
· Your site should be easy to navigate through - Once someone enters your site they will want to navigate through it. All the important that links should be easy to find, so those on your site can just click here or there to find what they want. The links are best displayed on the top of the page as that is where people will look first.
· Your website should have browser compatibility - You want your website to look good in Internet Explorer, Firefox and other web browsers. You should design your website with other internet web browsers besides Internet Explorer in mind.
· Keep fonts readable and professional – If you have wild fonts or colors on your site then people will run away, far away. Don’t use fonts that are not on other computers as it may come in horrible on someone else’s screen. Arial, Verdana and Times New Roman are some good fonts for web design.
· Don’t overuse images – While the visuals of your website are important, simple designs tend to be the most effective. If you clutter your page with gigantic images they will take forever to load plus it will keep the visitors from reading the content that you have put on the site.
